Pregnancy Highlights

How far along? 30 weeks 4 days

Size of Baby? Over 3 pounds and about 16 inches long. About the size of a head of cabbage. I'm guessing that is the weight of the cabbage because it is definitely not the length.

Gender? A BOY! Hayes Lucas Olson

Maternity Clothes? Still none. My pre-pregnancy jeans still work since they have some stretch to the waist band and I just wear them low. I have noticed recently that my tops are starting to get a little short. Hopefully I won't have to buy any tops to wear for just 2 months!

Movement? A lot. He is wiggling around as I type this. The past couple of days it feels like I have been feeling him move his shoulders. It feels like he has wide shoulders just like his daddy.

Sleep? It is really good unless I wake up to go to the bathroom and Chris is still awake, then it takes me about 10 minutes to fall back asleep. Haha

Symptoms? None really I am feeling really good. During the day when I am at work I get uncomfortable because I always feel like I am squishing him.

Cravings? Still none. I think I have been eating more than before, but who knows, I guess I will see on Friday if I have gained any weight.

Best Moment of the Week? Taking Hayes on his last motorcycle ride of the year. We went to the Oyster Run, and on the way home got caught in a down pour the rain hurt so bad and it was a little scary, but I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It was a good end to my pregnancy riding. And I almost forgot I had my baby shower on Saturday! It was a lot of fun, not many people showed up, but that's ok, I really don't have a lot of friends. I played all the games. I had to eat a jar of baby food and drink milk out of a bottle. Jessica took a lot of pictures so hopefully she will email me some soon so I can post them.

Here is my 30 week picture. I feel like I look a lot bigger in the picture than I do in real life. I forgot to take one at home, so that is the bathroom at work. Haha.

Only 10 weeks or less to go! 7 weeks until I'm full term! Yay I can't wait to meet my sweet baby boy!

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along? 28 weeks 5 days

Size of Baby? A little over 15 inches and almost 3 pounds. The size of a chinese cabbage

Gender? A boy! Hayes Lucas Olson

Movement? Quite a bit, he hardly ever punches or kicks me, but I can feel his whole body moving, like he is snuggling in.

Sleep? Still awesome

Symptoms? Still just the occasional upset stomach. It was pretty bad for 2 days after taking the glucose tolerance test.

Cravings? Nothing really. It is harder to find something that sounds good to eat.

Best Moment of the Week? Finding out the I passed the glucose screening with flying colors! An hour after you drink the glucose, your blood sugar is supposed to be below 140, and mine was 77. YEAH! The drink itself wasn't bad going down, but it made me sick about an hour afterwards, I though for sure I had failed, because of how horrible I felt.
I had my 28 week check up yesterday, and everything looks great, I am measuring 29cm which is a week ahead but that is totally normal, and Hayes's heartbeat was in the 130-140 range. Dr Mallory told me that I was having a remarkably unremarkable pregnancy, and he wishes everyone had such an easy time! Go me! haha
Haha don't mind my scary huge eyes, I couldn't take a good picture of myself for the life of me. Half of them were blurry. I still can't find my camera cord, so this one was taken with Chris's (my old) camera, and the button is really hard to push when you are holding your arm out. Oh well, at least you get to see the tummy.

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along? 27 weeks 5 days

Size of Baby? 15 inches and about 2.4 pounds. They say that is about the size of a roast. Mmm I'm ready for cooler weather and roasts!

Gender? A Boy! Hayes Lucas Olson

Movement? A lot! I am starting to feel little feet stretching up by my ribs now.

Sleep? Still going great. I really can't see myself ever having a problem sleeping. haha

Symptoms? My stomach still gets upset quit a bit. I would say my appetite is back some days. Other days, I eat like a bird.

Cravings? Every once in awhile I'll make Chris stop a Dairy Queen for a strawberry sundae but that's nothing new.

Best Moment of the Week? I love just feeling him move around in there. The unbest moment of the week will probably be Saturday when I take my glucose screening test. I hope I pass, because I don't know if I could handle the 3 hour one.

I finally got a belly pic. I'm not sure why it is blurry though. I don't think I got much bigger since the last time I took a picture 5 weeks ago. But maybe it is just the angle.

Size of Baby? 14 1/2 inches long and 2 pounds, about the length of a cucumber

Gender? A boy! We are thinking maybe Hayes Lucas Olson

Movement? I can tell the difference now between when he kicks, punches or just wiggles.

Sleep? Not a problem, I fall right asleep and maybe get up once at about 4 to go to the bathroom.

Symptoms? I still have an upset stomach off and on, but I have gotten my appetite back! Uh oh haha

Cravings? Nothing food sounds good again, but I'm not craving anything.

Best Moment of the Week? Nothing too exciting has happened this week. Just getting super excited to meet our little guy!

I know I promised a picture, and I tried, but my camera has a dead battery and I can't find the charger. Grrrr

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along? 25 weeks 3 days

Size of Baby? About 14 inches long and just under 2 pounds. The size of a rutabaga. I hope he's cuter than that Rutabaga!

Gender? A boy Hayes ? Olson

Movement? He has set sleep and awake patterns. I feel him moving about every 3 hours.

Sleep? Still just great. They only time I lose sleep is if Chris is snoring or the dogs are barking!

Symptoms? I'm still getting upset stomachs and the doctor said that is perfectly normal because all your insides are moving out of the way to make room for baby. I have also been a little nauseous this week and have thrown up a couple of times, not sure what that is all about.

Cravings? Still no cravings, thank goodness I'm not wanting sweets! I have my glucose test in a couple of weeks and I just hope I pass.

Best Moment of the Week? Getting to see another ultrasound of Hayes. He cooperated much better this time. Mom and I got to see lots of cute movements. He looks like he is going to have my short upper lip and Chris's shoulders and barrel chest. I also found out that he is positioned head down and his head is all the way down at my cervix which would explain all the pressure. Also when I got weighed at the doctor I am down a total of 7 pounds! Woohoo go me!

How far along? 23 weeks 4 days

Size of Baby? About 11 1/2" long and 1 1/4 pounds. The size of an eggplant.

Gender? A boy. Hayes Olson

Movement? He is definitely in there squirming around! My mom actually got to feel him moving last night.

Sleep? No problems, most nights I don't even get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Symptoms? I have had an upset stomach this week. I'm not sure if it is caused by all the movement or maybe Braxton Hicks? Or maybe a stomach bug?

Cravings? No cravings. Most of the time food doesn't sound very good.

Best Moment of the Week? I love that not only I can feel him moving around in there, but other people can from the outside too!

Wee Bit of me Wednesday

I thought it would be fun today to join in with Leigh Ashley and do a wee bit of me wednesday

{one} what was one thing that you valued when you were a kid?I don't think I valued too much as a kid. That wasn't something I really thought about I would say I more took for granted than valued. But looking back I value all the family get togethers we used to have, and my grandparents. They used to have property at Birch Bay and the whole family would go there every weekend.


{two} what was your favorite (+ lease favorite) subject in school?I loved US history, and I strongly disliked English

{three} do you remember your first love?Unfortunately yes

{four} what one pet would you love to have?A teacup Morkie, one so tiny it would fit in the palm of my hand

{five} would you rather live in the country or in the city?For sure the country. If I didn't have a job and hardly ever had to leave the house I would love to be a hermit up in the hills

{six} what do you love about blogging?Right now having a journal to keep track of being pregnant

{nine} what is your favorite scent of candle/air freshener?My brother got me a Slatkin candle in pine or something and it smells so good! My husband loves it too, imagine that, since he is an arborist

{ten} how would you describe your style?I think my style is country, redneck, contemporary and definitely comfy!
