6 YEARS

Six years ago today June 30, 2007, Chris and I stood surrounded by our family and friends and repeated those sacred vows(10 points if you can name that song)

I love him more now, than I ever thought possible then. He works so hard for our family, and makes me feel special and loved everyday.

We have been through a ton over the years, and there were times that I thought we wouldn't make it through, but we did and we will. He is my soul mate and the one I will spend the rest of my life loving.

Today we are off on a surprise getaway that he planned. All I have been told is we will be gone over night and to pack our bathing suits.
My wedding surprise. Chris built me a 1969 Chevy

I sure do love my handsome man who is full of surprises!

Sorry for the poor picture quality. I stole these off my Facebook, because I knew I would never get this post up if I didn't! haha

A-Z and Everything In Between

So before I start the ABC's of me. I just wanted to say holy cow I have 40 followers! I know that is a drop in the bucket to many bloggers, I have been blogging(not consistently) for 3 years. I think the first 2 years I had 2 followers. haha So to have 40 seems crazy to me. So if you are new here, and we haven't talked, leave me a comment, I would love to get to know you. Anyway back to the post.

Nicole tagged me in the ABCs of me. I love reading these, so hopefully since I have so many new followers who don't really know me, you will too!

A. Attached or Single? Attached married for 6 years June 30th
B. Best Friend? My husband Chris and my mom. I could not handle life without them.
C. Cake or Pie? Well since I am trying not to eat carbs, neither. haha yeah right. I love either as long as they are homemade, I can easily turn down bought baked goods.
D. Day of Choice? Friday. I get off work at 11, so I get almost the whole day with just Hayes. Starting next week I am just going to work Tuesday-Thursday. Woohoo So who knows, maybe Monday will become my new favorite day.
E. Essential Item? Umm.. My truck. That is something that definitely gets used everyday. I am pretty easy though, I can live without technology, make-up. Oh I know food! That is definitely an essential item. haha
F. Favorite Color? Sparkly red, or white, preferably the two together.
G. Gummy bears or worms? Both as long as they are kind of stale so they are tough to chew. haha I couldn't tell you the last time I had either though, it has been years!
H. Hometown? Whatcom County, Washington.
I. Favorite Indulgence? French fries, especially if it is at a sit down restaurant. Which is another thing I haven't had in years. Hopefully as the kids get older, we will be able to get out more!
J. January or July? July, we finally get some nice weather around here. Also the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love when family can just get together and enjoy themselves, without having to buy anyone presents.
K. Kids? We have Hayes who is 1 1/2. Then Chris has 2 kids, Ariana 12 and Shawn 8
L. Life isn't complete without? My coffee. Haha just kidding. Without getting to enjoy the great outdoors.
M. Marriage Date 6/30/2007

T. Tag 5 people: Crystal Kristine Angie Nicole Paige If you don't already know these girls, go say hi, they are awesome!
U. Unknown Fact about Me: This question is always so hard for me. I am an open book. I pay attention to everything. I know what kind of car everyone drives. I know where everyone lives. I know where every street is in the whole county. I know the words to every song I have ever heard. My brain is full of "useless" information. I love being a know it all. Everyone come to me when they have a question about anything or anyone in Whatcom County. I am not a gossip though. I keep all of that to myself.
V. Vegetable? No thanks. haha Broccoli and Cauliflower with cheese? And I wonder why I can't lose weight. opps
W. Worst Habit? Procrastination. Ugg I hate it especially when it comes to paying bills. For some reason I like to see my money sitting in my account for as long as possible! haha
X. X-Ray or Ultrasound? Ultrasound please. The only time I have ever had them was when I was pregnant, so definitely more excited than getting my teeth x-rayed or something.
Y. Your favorite food? Homemade bread and butter! mmmm
Z. Zodiac Sign? Gemini

So I wrote this post and figured I would add some pictures, but I suck and have none. So sorry for a long post about me with no pictures!

Fysiko Lash Challenge

Are you like me and have naturally short, straight and thin eyelashes? Fysiko makes a growth serum that will lengthen and thicken your eyelashes or eyebrows. I prefer thin eyebrows, so I am trying out the serum on my eyelashes.

Fysiko is a 16 week program.  I have been applying it nightly. The serum is applied with a thin brush, much like liquid eyeliner.

I am a couple of weeks into the program and I have not seen any results yet. I will check back in a couple of weeks to let you know of the progress! =)

Sorry for the creepy eye picture and no make-up! haha There is not really a cute way to photograph you eyelashes.

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster

Life Lately

So I finally just took some crappy pictures on my phone. I have a ton of pictures on my camera, and I finally set up the computer that a guy at work made me, but I can't get it to connect to the internet, so yeah...
So here are some random pictures of the last few weeks. Again I apologize for the quality, 3.2 megapixels just doesn't cut it!
We found out that Hayes love ketchup! Now if he sees it sitting on the counter, he starts yelling until we put some one his tray. Not the healthiest or the neatest food, but hey whatever works, right?
Chris has been working like crazy lately. The kids and I bought him out food one evening, so we sat in the car and ate ice cream while daddy worked. Oh and when I say he has been working like crazy, picture 16-24 hours a day!
Since Chris and his boss have been working so much, I have been picking up the slack in the office. That including about 5 trips to every cell phone store, averaging 2 hours in each one! They were trying to figure out which company was going to have the best service for them out in the fields in the middle of nowhere. This picture I was returning the Verizon cell phones, and I was brave and brought the boys along. This was also the first time I have been in the mall since I was pregnant with Hayes.
So I promise I did not blur out baby D's face, that is just my awesome phone! A co-worker quit so we went out to lunch at Boston Pizza. I actually really appreciated how much they cater to little kids. When they brought out the highchairs, they were wrapped in plastic (they get washed after every use) and under the plastic was toys and saltine crackers. Oh and they had a toy chest that kids could take as many toys as they wanted to, when you first came in. Thank you Boston's for caring!
And back to baling grass. So funny story with these two pictures, I took them last night. Chris asked me to bring him out something to drink when I got off work, he was only a couple of miles away. So when I got there I parked in the entrance to the field but as far to the side as I could, you never want to park on down grass, and I didn't want my car to be in their way.
So I ran over and jumped in with Chris, well I had never ridden with him while he was baling before, so I didn't know that there wasn't a buddy seat in the tractor. So I had to half stand with my butt pressed against the window, while trying not to hit my head. I'm sure that made for quite a pretty sight! haha. Anyway, the owner of the field came out and dropped off some bale wrap, and then left, there was just enough room for him to get his pickup around my Jeep. So Chris and I start heading away from my car in the baler, the next time I looked back, I saw a truck with 2 hay trailers on behind waiting to get into the field. No big deal, right? Well this is a 50 mph road that is pretty busy and it is 5pm. Ooopppsss. So I jump out of the tractor and take off running for the road. The guy that is running the wrapper is already at my car but he can't figure out where to put in my keys(my key is just a plastic rectangle that you stick into the dash and turn)So as I am running the 200 yards to my car I look up at the road block I caused, the back up is about 1/4 mile long and there is a sheriff 3 cars back. haha Got to love farm life!

Revolt- Detox week

This week is a detox week in June uprising of Revolt. All I can say is eggs, spinach, meat, repeat!! Haha actually it is not that bad, and a good way to start off a new month. I haven't done my workout for today yet, but it is titled Tabatas. Not sure what that means, but it looks hard and everyone on Facebook has been complaining about it. Oh boy can't wait!! haha.
I kind of fell of the workout and clean eating band wagon around my birthday and Memorial Day, so he is to a fresh start and a new month.
