Day 6 May Blogging

Day 6: Monday May 6th What do you do?

Besides working I am a wife, a mama, step-mom, dog mommy, a daughter, a granddaughter, an auntie, a friend.

Lately I don't feel like I do much other than work and wrangle kids. Chris has been working at least 12 hour days, usually more like 16 hour days. So I have pretty much been a single mom. Wow I don't know how people do it. Thank goodness I have my mom just a couple houses up, there is no way I could do this all on my own.

I wouldn't trade it for anything and I know some day I will look back and miss all this craziness but right now I am just on auto-pilot.

So what do I do? What don't I do? I have so many roles in this crazy life. The most important of all of those is being there for my family. I work daily on being the best wife and mommy I can be. I think my roles outside of my job are the most important.

How about you what do you do? I used to "do" more things, but my priorities have changed since having kids and family has became my focus.

Oh wow, 16 hour days! My boyfriend, a couple years ago, was working 12 hour days when my son was just a baby and it was tough! Thank goodness for family!

I think kids definitely change our lifestyles or at least I think they should! I totally get being on "auto pilot", that is how I feel most days too!

Ugh, dealing with your other half working so many hours can be a struggle... And I don't even have kids! Well, you know what I do, haha. Been LOVING our emails lately! Makes my day go by faster :)

Goodness, I honestly don't know what it would be like to have my hubby work so many hours... Oh in the spring and fall he is gone at 3 in the morning, and comes in late in the evening, working cattle. But I do know how long those days can be, so I feel for ya!
